Overview

What are BD Viva Pen Needles?
BD Viva Pen Needles are disposable pen needles designed for subcutaneous insulin injections using a wide range of insulin pen injectors. Manufactured by BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a trusted global leader in medical technology, these needles are engineered to offer a safe, sterile, and virtually pain-free injection experience. BD Viva needles are available in various lengths and gauges to suit individual needs, making them ideal for daily diabetes management.

How do BD Viva Pen Needles work?
BD Viva Pen Needles attach securely to compatible insulin pens, allowing for precise and comfortable subcutaneous insulin administration. The ultra-thin, micro-lubricated needle tip is designed to reduce injection pain and tissue trauma. The needles are designed with a protective shield for added safety and reduced risk of needlestick injury. Each needle is individually sealed to ensure sterility until use.

  • Compatibility: BD Viva Pen Needles are compatible with most major pens, including those from Novo Nordisk, Sanofi, and Eli Lilly.
  • Single-use: These needles are intended for single use only to reduce the risk of infection and ensure consistent injection performance.
  • Size Options: Available in a variety of sizes (e.g., 4mm, 5mm, 6mm) to accommodate different injection techniques and patient preferences.
  • Trustworthy Manufacturer: BD has over 90 years of experience in medical devices, giving patients confidence in their daily care routine.
