Description

Brolene Eye Drops contain propamidine isethionate, an antibacterial ingredient that helps stop the growth of bacteria causing infection. By acting directly within the eye, it reduces inflammation, irritation, and sticky discharge associated with bacterial conjunctivitis. The drops work locally without affecting the rest of the body. With regular use as directed, symptoms often begin to improve within a few days. Early treatment can help prevent the infection from spreading. Completing the full recommended course is important to ensure effective clearance. Brolene is designed for short-term treatment of minor bacterial eye conditions.

Directions

Wash your hands thoroughly before using the drops. Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Instil one or two drops into the affected eye up to four times daily, or as directed on the packaging. Blink gently to spread the solution evenly across the surface of the eye. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface to prevent contamination. Continue treatment for the recommended duration, even if symptoms improve sooner. Discard the bottle according to the instructions provided after opening.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Propamidine isethionate 0.1% w/v.


This antibacterial agent works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria responsible for infection.
Inactive ingredients may include purified water and stabilising or buffering agents to maintain product effectiveness and comfort. The formulation may contain preservatives to maintain sterility during use.

Warnings
