Description

Cerumol contains ingredients that work together to break down and loosen hardened earwax. The oily base helps lubricate the ear canal, while active components soften compacted wax for easier removal. This makes natural expulsion or professional ear cleaning more effective and comfortable. The formula is designed to be gentle on the delicate lining of the ear canal.

Directions

Wash your hands before use and tilt your head to one side. Place a few drops into the affected ear and keep your head tilted for several minutes to allow the drops to penetrate the wax. Use twice daily for 3–5 days, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Do not insert cotton buds or other objects into the ear.

Ingredients

Active ingredients: Arachis oil (peanut oil), chlorobutanol, paradichlorobenzene, and turpentine oil.
These ingredients work together to soften and break down earwax. Always check the packaging for a complete list of ingredients before use.

Warnings

Do not use if you are allergic to peanuts or any of the listed ingredients. Avoid use if you have a perforated eardrum, ear infection, or severe ear pain unless advised by a doctor. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen.

Frequently asked questions

  • What are Cerumol Ear Drops used for?

Cerumol Ear Drops are used to soften and remove hardened earwax. They help relieve blocked ears and discomfort caused by wax build-up.

  • How long does Cerumol take to work?

The drops usually begin softening wax within a few days of regular use. Continued use as directed helps make removal easier and more comfortable.

  • Can Cerumol be used before ear syringing?

Yes, it is often used prior to ear syringing or professional cleaning. Softening the wax beforehand can improve the effectiveness of the procedure.

  • Is Cerumol suitable for everyone?

It should not be used by anyone allergic to peanuts due to its arachis oil content. Consult a healthcare professional if you have ear pain or infection.

  • What should I do if symptoms do not improve?

If your ears remain blocked after several days of treatment, seek medical advice. A pharmacist or doctor may recommend further assessment or alternative treatment.
