Description

Cetirizine works by blocking histamine, the substance in the body responsible for allergic reactions. By preventing histamine from attaching to its receptors, it helps reduce sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, and skin irritation. It also helps calm allergic rashes and swelling. With consistent use, it offers up to 24 hours of reliable relief.

Directions

Adults and children over 6 years should take 10mg once daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional. The tablet should be swallowed whole with water and can be taken with or without food. Do not exceed the recommended dose. For younger children or individuals with kidney problems, medical advice should be sought before use.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is Cetirizine hydrochloride 10mg per tablet. Inactive ingredients may include lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and other excipients depending on the manufacturer. Always check the product packaging for a complete and accurate ingredient list. If you have known allergies to any components, consult a pharmacist before use.

Warnings

Although classed as non-drowsy, cetirizine may cause mild sleepiness in some individuals. Avoid alcohol as it can increase the likelihood of side effects. Consult a doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have kidney disease. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist, worsen, or if you experience any unusual reactions.
