Description

Curanail 5% Nail Lacquer contains amorolfine, an antifungal ingredient that penetrates the nail to treat infection at the source. It is designed for long-term use and is typically applied once weekly to affected nails. Curanail 5% Nail Lacquer is supplied with nail files and applicators to help prepare and treat the nail effectively. Directions

Before applying Curanail 5% Nail Lacquer, file down the infected areas of the nail using the provided nail file and clean the surface. Apply Curanail 5% Nail Lacquer evenly over the entire affected nail using the applicator, then allow it to dry for a few minutes. Repeat the treatment once weekly until the infected nail has grown out and been replaced by healthy nail. Treatment may take around six months for fingernails and up to nine to twelve months for toenails.

Avoid using cosmetic nail varnish or artificial nails during treatment. Always follow the instructions in the patient information leaflet for best results.

Ingredients

Curanail 5% Nail Lacquer contains amorolfine 5% w/v as the active antifungal ingredient. Amorolfine works by damaging the fungal cell membrane, helping to eliminate the infection. Curanail 5% Nail Lacquer also contains inactive ingredients that form the lacquer base, allowing the medicine to adhere to the nail surface and penetrate effectively. Warnings

Do not use Curanail 5% Nail Lacquer if you are allergic to amorolfine or any of the other ingredients. Curanail 5% Nail Lacquer is intended for external use on nails only and should not be applied to the surrounding skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If you have diabetes, poor circulation, or a severely damaged nail, consult a healthcare professional before use.
