Description

Daktarin Intensive 2% is a topical antifungal treatment containing miconazole nitrate to combat fungal skin infections. It penetrates the affected area to stop the growth of fungi and support skin recovery. Daktarin Intensive 2% is particularly suitable for athlete’s foot and other similar fungal conditions. The cream is easy to apply and absorbs into the skin without leaving a heavy residue.

Directions

Apply Daktarin Intensive 2% to clean, dry skin on the affected area and surrounding skin. Use a small amount and gently rub in until absorbed, typically twice daily unless otherwise advised in the leaflet. Continue using Daktarin Intensive 2% for the recommended duration, even if symptoms improve earlier, to help prevent recurrence.

Wash hands after application unless treating the hands. If symptoms persist after the treatment period, consult a healthcare professional.

Ingredients

Daktarin Intensive 2% contains miconazole nitrate 2% w/w as the active ingredient, which works by damaging the fungal cell membrane to stop growth. The formulation also includes excipients such as benzyl alcohol, butylated hydroxyanisole and other standard cream base components to support stability and absorption.
