Description

Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets offer reliable, predictable relief from occasional constipation. Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets are formulated with a gastro-resistant coating to ensure the active ingredient works directly in the bowel. They are suitable for short-term use and can also be used when bowel clearance is required before certain medical procedures under medical supervision.

  • Contains bisacodyl, a stimulant laxative
  • Gastro-resistant coating for targeted action
  • Usually works within six to twelve hours
  • Suitable for short-term constipation relief

Directions

Take Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets exactly as directed on the packaging or by your healthcare professional. The usual dose for adults and children over the recommended age is one to two Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets taken at night with water. Swallow Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets whole and do not chew or crush them, as this may affect how they work. Avoid taking Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets with milk or antacids within one hour, as this can damage the coating.

Do not use Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets for more than five consecutive days unless advised by a doctor. If constipation persists, consult a healthcare professional.

Ingredients

Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets contain bisacodyl as the active ingredient, typically at a strength of five milligrams per tablet. Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets also contain excipients that form the gastro-resistant coating and tablet core. These inactive ingredients help protect the active substance until it reaches the intestine. Always check the packaging for a full list of ingredients in case of allergies or sensitivities.

Warnings

Do not use Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets if you have a bowel obstruction, severe abdominal pain with nausea or vomiting, or if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets should not be used in cases of dehydration or serious intestinal conditions unless directed by a doctor. Prolonged use of Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets may lead to dependency or electrolyte imbalance.

Consult a healthcare professional before using Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking other medications. Keep Dulcolax Bisacodyl Tablets out of sight and reach of children.
