Description

GoldenEye Antibiotic 0.5% contains propamidine isethionate, an antibacterial agent that works by stopping the growth of bacteria responsible for infection. By interfering with bacterial cell processes, it helps reduce inflammation and clear discharge. The drops provide targeted treatment within the eye without affecting the rest of the body.

Directions

Always wash your hands thoroughly before using the drops. Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket. Instil one or two drops into the affected eye up to four times daily, or as advised on the packaging. Blink gently to allow the solution to spread evenly across the eye surface. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any other surface to maintain sterility. Continue treatment for the recommended duration, even if symptoms improve sooner. Discard the bottle according to the usage guidance after opening.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is chloramphenicol 0.5% w/v, which provides antibacterial action.
The formulation may also contain purified water and stabilising agents to maintain comfort and product stability.
Preservatives may be included to help maintain sterility during short-term use.

Warnings

For external ophthalmic use only and intended for bacterial infections. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed. Avoid wearing contact lenses during treatment and until the infection has fully resolved. If symptoms do not improve within 48 hours, worsen, or if you experience severe eye pain or changes in vision, seek medical advice promptly. Do not use for longer than recommended.
