Description

Ibuprofen Tablets provide effective relief from everyday aches and pains while also helping to lower a high temperature. Ibuprofen Tablets work by reducing the production of substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation. They are commonly kept in home medicine cabinets for general pain management and short-term symptom control.

  • Relieves mild to moderate pain
  • Reduces inflammation and swelling
  • Lowers fever
  • Suitable for a range of common conditions

Directions

Take Ibuprofen Tablets exactly as directed on the packaging or as advised by a healthcare professional. The usual adult dose is one or two Ibuprofen Tablets up to three times a day, with at least four to six hours between doses, depending on strength. Swallow Ibuprofen Tablets whole with water and preferably with or after food to reduce stomach irritation. Do not exceed the stated maximum daily dose and do not use for more than three days for fever or longer than recommended for pain without medical advice.

Ingredients

Ibuprofen Tablets contain ibuprofen as the active ingredient, which provides pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory and fever-reducing effects. Each tablet contains a specific strength of ibuprofen, commonly 200 mg or 400 mg, as stated on the packaging. Ibuprofen Tablets also contain inactive ingredients such as binders, fillers and coating agents to form and stabilise the tablet.

Always check the patient information leaflet for a full list of ingredients, especially if you have allergies.

Warnings

Do not take Ibuprofen Tablets if you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other NSAIDs. Avoid using Ibuprofen Tablets if you have a history of stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe heart failure, or serious liver or kidney disease unless advised by a doctor.

Consult a healthcare professional before taking Ibuprofen Tablets if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, elderly, or taking other medications. Stop use and seek medical attention if you experience severe stomach pain, allergic reactions or unusual symptoms. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
