Description

Ibuprofen 10% Gel provides targeted relief by penetrating the skin to help reduce pain and swelling in affected muscles and joints. Ibuprofen 10% Gel is suitable for short-term use on minor injuries and localised rheumatic pain. It is easy to apply and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving heavy residue.

Directions

Apply a small amount of Ibuprofen 10% Gel to the affected area up to three times daily, or as directed on the packaging. Gently massage Ibuprofen 10% Gel into the skin until fully absorbed, leaving several hours between applications. Do not apply more than the recommended amount and do not use on the same area more frequently than advised. Wash hands after applying Ibuprofen 10% Gel unless treating the hands, and do not use for longer than fourteen days unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Ingredients

Ibuprofen 10% Gel contains ibuprofen at a concentration of 10% w/w as the active ingredient, which belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Ibuprofen 10% Gel also contains inactive ingredients such as solvents and gelling agents that help the product spread easily and absorb into the skin.

Warnings

Do not use Ibuprofen 10% Gel if you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other NSAIDs. Ibuprofen 10% Gel should not be applied to broken, infected or irritated skin, or near the eyes and mouth. Avoid using Ibuprofen 10% Gel during the last trimester of pregnancy and consult a healthcare professional before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Stop using Ibuprofen 10% Gel if you experience skin irritation, rash or other adverse reactions, and keep out of sight and reach of children.
