Take Imodium Instant Melts exactly as directed on the packaging or by your healthcare professional. Place the tablet on your tongue and allow it to dissolve completely before swallowing; no water is required. For adults and children over the recommended age, the usual starting dose is two tablets followed by one tablet after each loose stool, up to the stated maximum in twenty-four hours. Do not use for more than forty-eight hours without medical advice.

Drink plenty of clear fluids to prevent dehydration while experiencing diarrhoea. If symptoms persist beyond two days or worsen, consult a doctor.

Do not use Imodium Instant Melts if you are allergic to loperamide or any of the other ingredients. Imodium Instant Melts should not be used in cases of severe diarrhoea with high fever or blood in the stools, or where constipation needs to be avoided.

Consult a healthcare professional before taking Imodium Instant Melts if you have liver problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are taking other medications. Stop using Imodium Instant Melts and seek medical advice if constipation, abdominal swelling or allergic reactions occur. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
