Description

Laxido Orange contains macrogol 3350 with electrolytes and is designed to relieve constipation gently and effectively. It helps increase the water content in stools, making them softer and easier to pass without causing sudden urgency. Laxido Orange is typically taken as a dissolved drink and can be adjusted according to symptom severity. It is often recommended when dietary changes alone are not enough to relieve constipation.

  • Contains macrogol 3350 with electrolytes
  • Softens stools by retaining water in the bowel
  • Used for constipation and faecal impaction
  • Orange-flavoured oral powder in sachets

Directions

Dissolve the contents of one sachet of Laxido Orange in a glass of water and stir until the powder is completely dissolved. The usual starting dose for constipation is one sachet taken one to three times daily, adjusted according to response. For faecal impaction, higher doses may be required, but this should be done under medical supervision. Continue taking Laxido Orange until normal bowel movements are restored, and always follow the advice in the patient information leaflet.

Ingredients

Laxido Orange contains macrogol 3350 as the active ingredient, along with electrolytes including sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and potassium chloride. These electrolytes help maintain the body’s natural salt balance while treating constipation.

Laxido Orange also contains flavouring and sweetening agents to provide its orange taste. Full ingredient details and quantities are listed on the packaging and patient leaflet.

Warnings

Do not take Laxido Orange if you have a bowel obstruction, perforated gut or severe inflammatory bowel conditions unless advised by a doctor. Consult a healthcare professional before using Laxido Orange if you have heart, kidney or electrolyte balance problems.

Prolonged use should only be under medical supervision, especially in children or elderly patients. If symptoms persist, worsen or are accompanied by abdominal pain or vomiting, seek medical advice promptly.
