Frequently asked questions

  • What is Motusol diclofenac gel commonly used for?

Motusol diclofenac gel is a topical anti-inflammatory treatment used to relieve joint and muscle pain. It helps reduce swelling and discomfort associated with conditions such as sprains, strains, and mild arthritis.

  • How does Motusol diclofenac gel work on pain and inflammation?

The gel contains diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that works by blocking substances in the body that cause inflammation. When applied to the skin, it targets the affected area to help reduce pain and swelling.

  • Can Motusol diclofenac gel be used for sports injuries?

Motusol diclofenac gel is often used to ease pain from minor sports injuries like muscle strains and ligament sprains. Applying it directly to the painful area can help support recovery and improve mobility.

  • How should Motusol diclofenac gel be applied for best results?

A thin layer of the gel should be gently rubbed onto the affected area of the skin. Hands should be washed after application unless they are the treated area to prevent accidental contact with eyes or mouth.

  • Are there any precautions when using Motusol diclofenac gel?

The gel should only be applied to intact, unbroken skin and avoided near sensitive areas such as the eyes. If irritation or unusual skin reactions occur, it is advisable to stop use and consult a healthcare professional.
