Description

Nexium Control provides effective relief from frequent heartburn by reducing excess stomach acid at its source. Unlike antacids that offer temporary relief, Nexium Control helps control acid production over a full twenty-four-hour period when taken daily. It is suitable for adults experiencing recurring symptoms of acid reflux.

Directions

Take one Nexium Control tablet once daily, preferably at the same time each day. Swallow Nexium Control whole with water and do not crush or chew the tablet. Nexium Control may take two to three days to provide full effect, so it should be taken continuously during this period.

The recommended treatment course is up to fourteen consecutive days unless otherwise advised by a healthcare professional.

Ingredients

Nexium Control contains 20 mg of esomeprazole (as esomeprazole magnesium) as the active ingredient. Nexium Control also includes inactive ingredients such as tablet coating agents, stabilisers and binding agents to ensure proper absorption and stability.

The gastro-resistant coating helps protect the medicine from stomach acid so it can work effectively in the intestine. Always check the leaflet for a full list of ingredients if you have allergies or sensitivities.

Warnings

Do not take Nexium Control if you are allergic to esomeprazole or other proton pump inhibitors. Consult a doctor before using Nexium Control if you have severe liver problems, unexplained weight loss, difficulty swallowing or persistent stomach pain.

Nexium Control is not intended for immediate relief of acute heartburn symptoms. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist after fourteen days of treatment or return shortly after stopping the medicine. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
