Description

Nurofen Day & Night Cold & Flu provides combined symptom relief in a practical day and night format. The day tablets focus on easing pain and clearing nasal congestion, while the night tablets help manage discomfort and support better sleep. It is intended for short-term relief when cold and flu symptoms are at their peak.

Key benefits:

  • Dual pack containing separate day and night tablets
  • Helps relieve headaches, fever, sore throat and body aches
  • Day tablets target nasal congestion and sinus pressure
  • Night tablets support symptom relief to aid restful sleep

Directions

Take the tablets exactly as directed on the packaging or by your pharmacist. The usual dose for adults and children over the recommended age is two day tablets every four to six hours during the day as needed, followed by two night tablets at bedtime. Leave at least four hours between doses and do not exceed the stated maximum in twenty-four hours. Swallow tablets whole with water and take with or after food to reduce the chance of stomach upset.

Do not use for longer than three days without consulting a healthcare professional. If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice. Always read the leaflet before use to confirm age restrictions and dosage guidance.

Ingredients

The day tablets typically contain ibuprofen for pain and fever relief, combined with a decongestant such as pseudoephedrine hydrochloride to relieve blocked noses and sinus pressure. The night tablets usually contain ibuprofen along with an antihistamine such as diphenhydramine hydrochloride to ease symptoms and support sleep.

Each tablet also contains standard pharmaceutical excipients that help form and stabilise the tablet. The exact strength of each active ingredient is listed on the packaging and patient information leaflet.

Always check the ingredients list if you have allergies or sensitivities.

Warnings

Do not take this product if you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Avoid use if you have a history of stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe heart, liver or kidney problems unless advised by a doctor. Do not take with other products containing ibuprofen, NSAIDs or decongestants.

Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking other medications, or have high blood pressure or asthma. The night tablets may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery after taking them. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
