Description

Optrex Bloodshot Eye Drops contain naphazoline hydrochloride, which works by gently constricting small blood vessels in the eye to reduce visible redness. This targeted action helps eyes appear clearer and less bloodshot within minutes. The formula also provides soothing relief from mild irritation caused by everyday environmental triggers.

Benefits include:

  • Quick reduction of redness
  • Refreshes tired-looking eyes
  • Provides temporary relief from minor irritation

The drops are suitable for short-term use when eyes need a fast cosmetic and comfort boost.

Directions

Wash your hands thoroughly before use. Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid. Instil one or two drops into the affected eye up to four times daily, or as directed on the packaging. Blink gently to allow even distribution of the solution. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface to maintain sterility. Do not exceed the recommended frequency of use.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Naphazoline hydrochloride.

Inactive ingredients may include purified water and stabilising or buffering agents to maintain product effectiveness and comfort.

Preservatives may be present to ensure sterility during use.

Always check the packaging for a full and up-to-date ingredient list before application.

Warnings

For external ophthalmic use only and intended for short-term relief of redness. Do not use if you have narrow-angle glaucoma or are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. Overuse may lead to rebound redness or increased irritation. If symptoms persist, worsen, or you experience eye pain or vision changes, discontinue use and seek medical advice. Avoid wearing contact lenses during irritation and keep out of reach of children.
