Description

Otrivine Congestion Relief Nasal Spray 0.1% contains a targeted decongestant that acts directly inside the nose to quickly ease congestion. By shrinking swollen blood vessels in the nasal lining, Otrivine Congestion Relief Nasal Spray 0.1% helps open the airways and reduce sinus pressure. It is commonly used for relief from colds, hay fever and other allergic rhinitis symptoms. The metered spray design helps deliver an accurate dose with each application.

  • Fast-acting relief from nasal congestion
  • Helps reduce sinus pressure
  • Suitable for colds, sinusitis and allergies
  • Metered spray for controlled dosing

Directions

Use Otrivine Congestion Relief Nasal Spray 0.1% exactly as directed in the patient information leaflet. The usual dose for adults and children over twelve years is one spray into each nostril up to three times daily. Do not exceed the recommended number of doses within twenty-four hours. Otrivine Congestion Relief Nasal Spray 0.1% should not be used for more than seven consecutive days to avoid rebound congestion.

Before use, gently blow your nose and keep your head upright while spraying. Clean the nozzle after each use and replace the cap securely. Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen.

Ingredients

Otrivine Congestion Relief Nasal Spray 0.1% contains xylometazoline hydrochloride as the active ingredient, which is a topical nasal decongestant. Each spray delivers a measured dose of xylometazoline hydrochloride at a strength of 0.1%. Otrivine Congestion Relief Nasal Spray 0.1% also contains inactive ingredients such as purified water and buffering agents to maintain stability and comfort during use.

Always check the packaging for a full list of ingredients, especially if you have known sensitivities. The formulation is designed for local action within the nasal passages.

Warnings

Do not use Otrivine Congestion Relief Nasal Spray 0.1% if you are allergic to xylometazoline or any of the other ingredients. Avoid use if you have recently had nasal surgery, unless advised by a doctor. Prolonged or excessive use of Otrivine Congestion Relief Nasal Spray 0.1% may cause rebound congestion or worsening symptoms.

Consult your doctor before use if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disorders or diabetes.
