Schollmed Fungal Nail 5% Treatment contains amorolfine, an antifungal ingredient that penetrates the nail to treat infection at its source. Schollmed Fungal Nail 5% Treatment is intended for mild fungal infections affecting the nail surface and edges. Continued use helps improve the appearance of the nail as it grows out.

Directions

Apply Schollmed Fungal Nail 5% Treatment once weekly to the affected nail unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional. Before each application, file down the affected areas of the nail and clean the surface as instructed in the leaflet. Use the applicator provided to cover the entire nail surface evenly and allow it to dry for a few minutes.

Treatment should be continued until the infected nail has grown out and been replaced by healthy nail, which may take several months.

Ingredients

Schollmed Fungal Nail 5% Treatment contains amorolfine hydrochloride 5% w/v as the active ingredient. Amorolfine works by disrupting the fungal cell membrane, helping to eliminate the infection. Schollmed Fungal Nail 5% Treatment also contains other ingredients such as ethanol and film-forming agents that help the solution adhere to the nail.

Warnings

Do not use Schollmed Fungal Nail 5% Treatment if you are allergic to amorolfine or any of the other ingredients. Avoid contact with eyes, ears and mucous membranes, and for external use on nails only. Do not apply nail varnish or artificial nails during treatment unless advised by a healthcare professional.

If the infection worsens or does not improve, consult a doctor or pharmacist for further advice. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
