Description

Vicks First Defence Nasal Spray is a clinically proven nasal spray that targets cold viruses in the nasal cavity. It forms a protective micro-gel barrier that helps trap and inactivate viruses before they can spread further. By acting at the source of infection, Vicks First Defence Nasal Spray supports the body’s natural defences during the early stages of a cold.

  • Targets cold viruses at the first signs
  • Forms a protective barrier in the nasal cavity
  • Helps reduce severity and duration of symptoms
  • Easy-to-use metered nasal spray

Directions

Use Vicks First Defence Nasal Spray at the first sign of a cold, such as a sore throat, sneezing or a runny nose. Insert the nozzle into one nostril, press the pump firmly and breathe in gently, then repeat in the other nostril.

Use up to four times a day as required, spacing applications evenly throughout the day. Continue using Vicks First Defence Nasal Spray for up to two days after symptoms subside.

Always read the patient information leaflet before use. Clean the nozzle after each application and replace the cap securely. Do not share the spray with others to avoid cross-infection.

Ingredients

Vicks First Defence Nasal Spray contains a combination of ingredients designed to create a slightly acidic environment in the nasal cavity that is unfavourable for cold viruses. Active components typically include hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and buffering agents. These ingredients work together to form a micro-gel barrier inside the nose.

The formulation also contains purified water and other excipients to maintain stability and effectiveness. The full ingredient list is provided on the packaging and leaflet.

Check the ingredients carefully if you have known sensitivities.

Warnings

Do not use Vicks First Defence Nasal Spray if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. If irritation or discomfort occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Avoid contact with the eyes, and rinse thoroughly with water if accidental contact happens.

Consult a doctor before using Vicks First Defence Nasal Spray if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or using other nasal medications. This product is intended for short-term use at the onset of cold symptoms.

Keep out of sight and reach of children.
