Vicks VapoRub Jar is formulated to provide comforting relief from common cold symptoms using a blend of aromatic ingredients. Vicks VapoRub Jar works by releasing medicated vapours when applied to the chest and throat, helping to soothe coughs and relieve blocked noses. It can also be gently massaged onto muscles to ease minor aches and pains associated with colds.

Directions

Apply Vicks VapoRub Jar externally to the chest, throat or back and rub in gently to allow the vapours to be inhaled. Use Vicks VapoRub Jar up to the recommended number of times daily as stated on the packaging. For muscle aches, Vicks VapoRub Jar can be massaged into the affected area.

Do not heat Vicks VapoRub Jar, place in hot water or use in a microwave, and do not apply inside the nose or swallow.

Ingredients

Vicks VapoRub Jar contains active ingredients such as menthol, camphor and eucalyptus oil, which provide its distinctive aroma and soothing vapour action. These ingredients work together in Vicks VapoRub Jar to help relieve congestion and calm coughs. Vicks VapoRub Jar also includes a petrolatum base and other excipients that give the ointment its smooth texture.
