What is Regaine Scalp Foam?
Regaine Scalp Foam contains minoxidil and is clinically shown to help treat - and in some cases reverse - hereditary hair loss.


Regaine for Men works by boosting blood circulation to the hair follicles, helping to encourage stronger hair growth and extend the lifespan of existing hair.

It is most effective for men experiencing recent hair loss or thinning at the crown, but it can also be used during the early stages of a receding hairline.

Alternatives to Regaine for Men
Regaine for Men Scalp Foam is specifically formulated for men between the ages of 18–49 years. It is not suitable for women. If you are female and looking to treat hair loss, please see Regaine for Women.

Directions

How to Use Regaine Scalp Foam
Regaine Scalp Foam is intended for use by men aged 18–49 years.

Wash hands before and after use.
You should apply 1g (half a capful) to your dry scalp, twice a day.
Leave at least 12 hours between applications.
Do not use more than 2g per day and do not use more than twice daily.

It may take 8 weeks or more to see growth. If you don't see any growth after 16 weeks, stop treatment and see your doctor.

If you forget to use the foam for one of your treatments, do not double up on your next treatment, simply skip the dose and get back to your normal dosing schedule as soon as possible.

Side Effects

Not everyone will experience side effects when they use Regaine for Men. However, side effects that can affect more than one in ten people include:

  • Headaches
  • Itching or dermatitis, propylene glycol may cause skin irritation

Get immediate help if you have:

  • Chest pain
  • Swelling of face, lips, mouth, tongue, throat (breathing/swallowing difficulty)

Stop use and talk to a doctor if you have:

  • Allergic reactions
  • Low blood pressure
  • Fast or noticeable heartbeat
  • Dizziness or fainting
  • Swollen hands/feet
  • Sudden weight gain
  • Persistent scalp redness or rash

In the rare event that Minoxidil passes into the bloodstream or you ingest it, it can cause a feeling of faintness, dizziness and chest pains - if this happens to you please discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.

    Do not use sunscreen whilst using Regaine Scalp Foam. Instead, you must wear a head covering that fully covers your scalp.
